Earlier Representational

Most of my work until twelve years ago was based on observation and intuitive handling but as time passed I started doing studio paintings on the same subjects which became more and more improvised and abstracted. From this developed a new approach which was more abstract and imaginative. These are some of my earlier representational works. ~ Paul Humphris.
